Im Welsh and i've had a car crash in Wales due to mud on the road.

Been in 4 crashes and its not pleasent. Worst one i reversed my van into a guys car in Asda car park. He'd only just picked it up new from the dealership and i put the whole side through

Ouch! I remember a while ago reading in the paper about a guy whos Brother crashed his litrally just deliverd Bugatti Veyron without the guy ever getting to drive it.
Most crashes around here are due to idiots who dont pay attetion to what they are doing usually flouting the phone ban as we dont have much mud.
Looks like I best avoid Wales then if driving

No sh*t!

Every other crash posted on here is in wales......and mud related.

Dude needs a new car by the looks of things. Must be cheap to run (insurance/lots of traveling) my budget is about £5000.

Any thoughts?

What about:
Fiesta
Escort
Focus
Mondeo
Astra
Vectra
Corolla
All are fairly cheap to obtain and get parts for and can be brought in fairly reasonable to run sizes

Haha true, my one and only crash (a day after my driving test was passed....) was just over the Welsh/Cheshire boarder

I used to own a Megane, was pleasantly surprised with it (Being used to VWs). Not a bad car, you could get another! Though a VW Corrado would be nicer.

Last year was my year for accidents, I got hit in the side on a roundabout by someone sending a text, a month later I lost it on some ice and rolled into a ditch, a couple of months after than I hit an Iraqi immigrant who ran out into heavy traffic, then just before xmas I hit a learner driver who stalled in the middle of a roundabout.

I dont think Ive managed to stall on a roundabout, I done it on my first lesson though with a queue forming behind me aswell as I wasnt comftable then at over 40mph and the road was 50.
I perfectly fine now, just my timing is a little off.

As I had it sat in my Photobucket account, here was part of the result of the 'ditch' incident:

Hope you were okay after that accident.

Telling me, amount of times i've been stuck behind one of those down a country lane. What is it ? 0-60 in 15 minutes (not seconds)

Horrible car ! Thankfully not as many of them around nowadays !!

Mostly because they rusted into dust, if your mates ever get one engourage them to do a reverse skid in it (Whilst wearing the proper gear of course). It filps the 2cv every time
