Plans for Christmas

Post by LeeT » Tue Nov 29, 2005 4:54 pm

What are people doing during the festive season?

Me and my girlfriend are off to see her family in Norfolk just before Christmas, for a few days. Then its back home where we will spend Dec 25th with my parents and then have a nice quiet time for the rest of the hols! :)

Finish work on the 20th, chilling out for a few days and then travelling to Wales to visit family on Xmas Day (which also happens to be my birthday!).

I finish work on Friday 23rd, and will no doubt spend much of Christmas Even and day up at my parents house.

I'm stocking up on DS games (I;ve got Advance Wars DS ready to play, and have Castlevania on order) and have asked my brother to get me Meteos, so that I've got something to keep me occupied on Christmas Day afternoon, whilst everyone else nods off.

I've booked the entire period between Christmas and New Year off work, so In have some serious catchup to do.

/adopts drippy Mystic Meg voice

I see...a comfy chair...a Nintendo DS and a backlog of games. I see Advance Wars and (hopefully) Animal Crossing DS import. I see a glut of bad television and even worse junk food. I see a pot belly come January.

/Meg off

Hopefully I'll get some money from relatives who have no clue what to get, as there are usually some real finds in the sales on the 27th in Game, etc, so I'm also going to run my festive gaming in the hands of whim (and what games they have too many of and want to offload...)

Anyway, a merry gaming Xmas to you all. I hope you manage to sidestep the Xbox 360 and PSP stock problems and get what you want...
