PS3 for sale
selling my UK PS3 as I'm planning on picking up a us model.
It's the model that is actually backwards compatible, has a 60 gig drive and basically doesn't have any of the losses from the new ps3 that is coming out.
there is about 30 pounds worth of psn downloads on the machine, and I will throw in a couple of blu-rays as well (ice age 2 and Kingdom of heaven).
Selling for £300 with postage to be decided and added afterwards.

What's the difference? I thought if you got one from the US, you have to mess with the power voltages and you can't do certain on-line things. Or am I wrong?Darran@Retro Gamer wrote:selling my UK PS3 as I'm planning on picking up a us model.
As far as I know HD is HD - i.e. there is no such thing as PAL or NTSC HD, so at least you won't lose picture quality. I could be wrong about that as well, though.
I just don't get why you'd want to change to a US one

I know Blue Ray is region protected and HD DVD isn't.
Majority of films are region locked but theres a few which are region free. US console would be best to play Bluray discs as theres just so many of them and they are priced low enough to make it worth starting a collection. Games are completely region free.ToxieDogg wrote:Only for films, not for games (I think?)
