This can be for anything worth mentioning, really, gaming-related or otherwise (although there is of course a dedicated thread for games on t'other forum).

My major purchases recently:

Roland Cube 30X:

Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer:

What have you bought lately?

Have you watched The Hobbit or ROTC animated movies yet? What do you think?

I loved the Bakshi version of LOTR , such a shame he didnt get to make the follow-up

I haven't had chance yet, I'll probably get to them later in the week and yes I'm a big fan of the Bakshi version of LOTR as well, I know there's a huge amount of people that despise it but I think it's fantastic.

Let us know what you think when , you've watched them will you?

Can't understand why people dissed Bakshi's version , esp when you consider there was no celluloid alternative at the time

I reckon Jackson liked it too , and you can see similarities between his movies and Bakshis' , in particular with the character of Gollum , who looks and sounds cery similar to the animated film

nice one!

Imho Panasonic plasma gives the best picture (I got a 37inch Viera)
The only problem is that after watching sport in HD on Sky or Beeb (ch143) , watching the Rugby World Cup on ITV is like going back to pre digital terrestrial telly , the picture quality is that bad

Got it for £1395.

Got it from a shop. I probably could have saved a few quid if I'd researched it on the net. But the shop owner is a friend and I got a free 5 year guarantee.

Everything works superbly, but for some reason, cant get the 360 working in HD at the mo??? No picture, but sound ok? Works in 576i in TV mode rather than HD.

I've put a post about this problem on the AVforums site. Still waiting for some inspiration :(

Edit: Sorted it. Looks class. Looks like I can finally start on Bioshock now.
