Wii Online question

Post by djcarlos » Mon Sep 03, 2007 11:05 am

Just a quick question....

I know the Wii is wi-fi enabled, but do I have to use wireless?

I don't have a wireless router, does the Wii have an ethernet port?

Yeah, I'm sure it does... I'm not near one right now, but I'm 99% sure it does.

So, is it safe to use wireless for Wii (and PS3)? I live in flats and I don't use wireless for my laptop as I don't trust it (based on the fact that I discovered last week about £5k on my credit card which was not me  )

You'll have to buy a lan adapter for the Wii to be able to us it without wireless.

Should be able to get one off ebay for about a tenner or less, which is where I got mine from.

This is another option:

I've just bought one of these to use with my Wii, apparently they can be a little tricky to set up but work well once they are! :D
