And with Fergie at the helm, Man U will HAVE to play better or some will be shown the door!

Well that was fun. 8 goals and should really have been 12. But only goes to show how embarassing the defeat in Turkey really was.

Yes, lets hope the confidence remains high and we get back on track in the league.

Don't get carried away - it was a great result but you were playing a really poor team. I felt the same way when we beat Slavia 7-0.
If you take 7-9 points from the next 3 prem games then I would say the blip is over - but I don't think you will win the last 2 champ league matches - we shall see.
I also think we will struggle tonight against Slavia.........

we were in the same boat in 2005, and look what happened then, also in the league this time last season we'd already lost 4 games and we were 4 points worse off and practically out of the title race.

Were you in the same boat in 2006 too?

nope in 2006 we qualified from the group pretty easily 13 points iirc and lost the final group game at home to galatasary because the reserve team was played, we qualified pretty easily in the 05/06 group stage too, that season was the one when we had chelsea in the same group

Well the best game we could play today to get over the so called blip is a home game to Fulham... No disrespect to Fulham...
Has to be a good win off the back of that 8,0.. Too many home draws already.!

i'm happy enough with the 2-0 win couldn't ask for much more, fulham are normally a easy victory but since laurie has taken charge they seem a little more organised defense wise.
besides any win is better than a draw

good to see torres coming back to fitness too, we still desperately need agger tho, as it all seemed to fall apart the moment he got injured

A nice 2-1 win for us against the Blose, with our old boy Ridgewell scoring an own goal for us (which I predicted on another board last Sunday!)
Get in!
