I see Chelsea going through next. Obviously as a Liverpool fan I want us to be in the final but I don't see it happening. A Man U - Liverpool final would be far too tense and too much trouble for UEFA to deal with.

That's pathetic, he's been great for the club. Sure they couldn't keep up with their great start (I reckon they should've held on to Schmeichel) But they now have a solid foundation for next season. It'll be their loss, he'll move to a bigger club.

There's something more to the Eriksson story, patently a case of Shinawatra sticking his nose in on signings, tactics, etc. and Eriksson in his, calm, Swedish manner politely advising him that he knows f*ck all about football and he should shut his cakehole.

You can guarantee the next manager they get will be someone he can puppeteer around to his heart's desire. McClown, anyone?

If you squint hard enough Eriksson does look a bit like penfold...

Well done United. For all the possession Barcelona had , they didn't create many clear chances , they ran out of ideas late on and overall we deserve to be in the final , nice for Scholes to bag the winner as well.

yep great match and chelsea really deserve to be in the final, wish it could have been closer but it was a good tense match, now c'mon chelsea stick it up the mancs in moscow

i am a little dissapointed that we couldn't push on a lot more at the end of normal time, that was perhaps our best chance to win the tie

Ah well, look at it like this Wayne, you've still got five European Cups mate, we're still going for our first. If we win the European Cup, then I can truly die a happy man, no matter what happens afterwards, I just long for the night when I see us lift that trophy.

Good game though mate, I was bricking it at 3-2

I wouldn't be looking forward to it. It was bad enough when Barca beat us in the final but I think it will be worse losing to another English team.

Hope its not a repeat of last seasons FA cup final though!

Well gutted Man Utd won but the next day very happy Chelsea won. Liverpool or Chelsea would have been good against Man Utd but its gonna be a great game though - Man Utd - Chelsea, i'm sure Man Utd will win the title but it'll be great to see these two battle in the final

Come on Chelsea !

Even if my team Liverpool aren't in the final, it is good to see that it will be 2 Premiership teams in Moscow. The Champions League has had an all Spanish & Italian final, so it was about time that it was an English one. Oh and congrats to Rangers too & I hope they go on to win the final.
