The Fortnite festival of "Fun" (Kinda funny)

Post by DPrinny » Tue Feb 19, 2019 3:11 pm

Spotted this at weekend and thought id share it as I found it funny

Justine Petersen, who queued for 90 minutes to get in with her husband and her nine-year-old son, said it was "like the episode of Father Ted when the fair comes to Craggy Island".
The Facebook page is gone but it had such highlights as

*Retro gaming zone (Bring your own consoles)
*Play Fortnite (Que up for an hour to play for fifteen minutes)
*Play with famous Fortnite players (TBC)
*Nerf zone
*Archery
*Stalls (with stuff for sale that has nothing to do with the game)
*Caving experience (Ok its a trailer with a roof on it)
*The que to get out of there (apparently this was the most fun part)

And in closing

They are now getting sued by Epic games

I'm not surprised. It was an unofficial event, not endorsed by Epic - and that means the shambles it turned out to be was bad publicity for the game.
