Yes, folks! It's that time of year again. It's back! Fantasy Premier League Football - http://fantasy.premierleague.com/. Unfortunately, unlike previous years everyone now has to input the following code to join a Private League (had problems trying to Renew for existing Managers and ended up deleting the old league....):

191146-48133

<IMPORTANT> Can ALL Managers, new and old, please leave an entry in this thread to announce who they are in the League. (And see below)

As usual the game is FREE to enter and you have £100mill to spend on 15 players. Either choose your own, or let the system randomly select them all for you. Until the start of the first GameWeek any Transfers you make will be free. Effective from the start of the first Game Week, only 1 (ONE) Transfer each GameWeek will be free, 2 or more Transfers in a single Game Week will cost you 4 points per additional Transfer. There are exceptions:

1) If you do not make a Transfer in any given Game Week, that free Transfer will carry forward to the next Game Week and therefore allow 2 free Transfers during that Game Week. You can only carry forward a single Transfer; it is NOT possible to have 3 or more Transfers in any one GameWeek free of charge. If you carry forward a Transfer so as to have 2 free Transfers in one week you will only be docked points for 3 or more Transfers being made.
2) Use your Wildcard. This permits, in one Transfer process, an unlimited number of Transfers free of charge. This Wildcard is only available TWICE during the entire season - once prior to 30 December, and once after the January Transfer Window opens - so use it wisely!

There are now 3 additional scoring benefits, called Chips - Bench Boost, Free Hit, Triple Captain. Each is available only ONCE during the entire season - so use them wisely!

There will again be an RGF Cup competition which will run independently of the Fantasy's own Cup.

IMPORTANT

Due to niggles encountered in past seasons, the following will apply:

1) As always only RGForum members are entitled to participate in the RGF league
2) Non-forum members who join will be immediately suspended
3) Any Manager NOT announcing themselves in this thread will be suspended pending clarity (though I, as League Chairman, may relax this ruling for team Managers that I specifically recognise from posts in other topics. I do NOT view this as favouritism [and no discussion on this point will be entered into  ]) Suspensions will be mentioned in this topic
4) Any Manager suspended has the Right to an Appeal. Simply PM me with your real name, Forum name and team name (sufficient info for me to check the Forum for legitimacy)
5) The league will CLOSE on 1 September
6) Any Manager wishing to join AFTER 1 September MUST send me a PM with their real name, Forum name and team name
7) The will be NO admissions permitted AFTER 1 October
8 ) Only Managers that join BEFORE the league's closure on 1 September will be entered into the separate RGF Cup competition

This League Chairman will at all times play fair (as I am sure many of you will attest to from previous seasons). Errors are unavoidable and corrections will be made as swiftly as possible. Reinstatement following suspension will not in any way affect your points tally. Feel free to raise ideas etc - all will be considered. But most of all...

...ENJOY!

Stimpson J. County are ready for another season of lower-mid-table mediocrity when I forget about micro-management in February like I always do.

Where is everyone? The new season starts on FRIDAY 11 August, so you all have just 1 week to get registered for the start.

Hurry, hurry!

Hopefully more people will sign up as I'm damn confident about this team but the recent bannings/people leaving may hinder that.

I'm in. I've optimistically called myself the Giant Killers :P

I've no idea how this works. I'm hoping it's all manually updated on a match by match basis.

The points are automatically updated and Sputryk puts on regular tables but you will need to keep an eye on your team for injuries and the like. My team currently has three injuries including two defenders and I only have one spare on the bench. I'm probably going to have to change my formation to add in another midfielder or striker for at least the first game of the season.

Also there is a good chance that Coutinho may be sold by Liverpool resulting in me losing a player fairly soon. Very annoyed about that one as I think this years team is a damn fine team.

You will also need to keep an eye out on when to use your wildcards and chips.
