Heh, Roma was going balls deep there, they were utterly taking Barcelona to the cleaners amazingly enough, just having difficulty putting the ball into the score bag. Until the 82nd minute. The Man City Liverpool match started with a bang, but as soon as Pool scored, it was over.

Well weren't Real Madrid very lucky last night. Juventus nearly did a Roma until the 97th minute penalty put Real through to the Semi-Finals.

In the Europa League Arsenal are through to the Semi-Finals.

Good result for Liverpool in the Champions League the other day, beating Roma 5-2. Two away goals for Roma and they came back against Barcelona so Liverpool not through yet.

The other game ended up Bayern Munich 2-1 Real Madrid.

Its about time really, they havent won tons the last decade, havent won the league or that. Shame as i think he was a great manager but i do think its time.

Got fond memories of Arsene as i hate Man utd so quite a few years i was happy as hell when they beat Utd and won the league. That invincible year was obviously an amazing season.

Yea - absolute legends during his time, especially in the early 2000s. I guess it's time for him to go, though I think no one will live up the legacy of him :P

Wenger should have gone at least a couple of years ago, especially when he never sorted out a defensive midfielder and a reliable defence. It's all good and well spending millions on attacking players but you need to be able to defend as well.

Not sure what Wenger's replacement is going to do. You need to spend £50m+ to get a finished article who will do well in the the PL, world class after the WC is gonna be min £80m probably £100m plus.

Arsenal aren't going to win the league with the squad they've got, and aren't prepared to pay the cash to bring the players in who might. And so they have to be content with - at best - 2nd 3rd or 4th, against Spurs,Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool. So no guarantees there.

Arsene won the FA cup 2013, 2014 and 2016 and this season he could still win the UEFA cup. Don't get me wrong, it's time he moved on and it's simply not healthy for one man to be in charge of a football club for as long as he has. But anyone who thinks the new manager will come in and do anything other than get the club a 4th place finish in the PL is likely going to be very disappointed. Maybe the fans would rather see Arsenal playing CL football than winning any cups, but fans may regret what they had with Wenger when they don't win anything at all for the next few years.

Btw wouldn't surprise me to see Unai Emery get the Arsenal job; good manager now out of work. Way better than Diego Simeone imho.

You couldn't make it up with Sunderland. Season isn't over yet and they are looking for another manager after Chris Coleman was 'released from his contract', though this was due to some good news that subject to EPL clearance the club has been sold.

There were rumours the other day that the new manager is only going to get £50M to spend which sadly these days is a ridiculous low amount of money, especially for a club that expects a top four finish.

Last day of the Premier League today and all leagues have now finished except for the Play-offs. On the last day of the season Swansea were relegated and Spurs and Liverpool confirmed Champions League spots.

Salah finished as top scorer and set a new record with it of 32 league goals.

In La Liga Barcelona failed to go through the entire season without losing by losing their penultimate game 5-4 to Levante.
