Bar a massive failing it looks like Liverpool will be through to the next round of the Champions League.

Sheffield Wednesday or Swansea Vs Rochdale or Tottenham
Manchester City or Wigan Vs Southampton

Rochdale took Spurs to a replay after drawing 2-2 today.

I was hoping for Southampton, but Man Utd are more than beatable at the moment

That was a cracking goal.

It was kind of odd how it ended at Man Utd. Scores a load, gets injured, barely plays after injury and then just leaves.


Alan Pardew has gone as West Brom manager taking with him the best coach ever John Carver.

Wow, what a night in the Champions League Quarter-Final.

Man City lost 1-2 against Liverpool meaning that Liverpool went through 5-1 on aggregate. Roma, after losing 4-1 to Barcelona in the first leg completed a stunning comeback and won 3-0 to go through on away goals.

In other news Mick McCarthy has left Ipswich Town after five and a half years.
