Here's my Penny's worth -

Best GiJoe character - Never watched it!

Best Transformer - Soundwave

Best Turtle - Donatello (But I wasn't a big fan)

Best Wrestler/Tag team - Ultimate Warrior / Legion of Doom

Best Toyline - Lego

Best Cartoon - Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors

Best Film - Back to the Future

Here's a few additional questions too -

Best pop group / Solo Artist - Madness / Gary Numan

Best 80's based item you owned (not including gaming stuff) - 3D Super Woofer (or did that come out in the 90's?)

Best 80's based item you always wanted (but never had) - Big Trak

Best GiJoe character - ?? never watched it

Best Transformer - Megatron

Best Turtle - Michelangelo

Best Wrestler/Tag team - Mr Perfect / Demolition

Best Toyline - Star Wars

Best Cartoon - Dungeons and Dragons

Best Film - Blade Runner

Could have quite easily listed several for most of the options but always think it defeats the object if you list 10 for each choice!

Same here, wanted to list loads for each one but like you, I feel it sort of ruins the point. much better when people are forced to make one single choice.

Best GiJoe character - The original GI Joe, Action Man with gripping hands and eagle eyes. Though he was from the 70s, he lasted into the 80s. I was too old for the cartoon thing that came later.

Best Transformer - Mr Wobbly. Again, too old for the cartoon, so my transforming preferences lay elsewhere.

Best Turtle - Raphael. Ok, too old again, but Mrs Ant v1.0's kids were into these.

Best Wrestler/Tag team - Giant Haystacks

Best Toyline - Women

Best Cartoon - The Trap Door

Best Film - Return of the Jedi.

Best GI Joe Character - Snake Eyes. I never watched the cartoon series - but did catch some of the comic strips in the Transformers comics.

Best Transformer - Optimus Prime.

Best Turtle - Donatello. Was never really a Turtles' fan, it was more my younger brother's thing. Although, Donatello is the inventor - so that's why I picked him.

Best Wrestler/Tag team - Kendo Nagasaki(for that Saumrai gear) and Big Daddy(Shirley Crabtree - what a name). Ahh, memories of that on early Saturday morning just after Terrahawks. Seeing two vastly overweight men beat each other to a pulp. Nowadays, if I watch to see that I sort of thing - I have to go down to Leytonstone town centre on a Friday night!

Best Toyline - Original Star Wars toyline(the includes the ships like the Millennium Falcon and Darth Vader's Tie Fighter and the figurines).

Best Cartoon - Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds.

Best Film - The Cook, the Thief, his Wife and her Lover(for the arthouse crowd - I was too young to catch it at the cinemas, but later on caught it on TV. Amazing film. Superb music from Michael Nyman. A really clever idea for a film. Even features a young Tim Roth.) Raiders of the Lost Ark(for the more mainstream crowd. I still think it's Spielberg's best film. Has elements of an old Bond film - going on an adventure to find something, good supporting characters(Sallah, Mariah, Ronald Lacey as the creepy Nazi and of course Paul Freeman as the fly eating Belloq). I still think truck chase is the best chase sequence in film history and then there's the gory ending.).

Kane character didn't appear in WWF until mid 90's, LOD first appeared in WWF in early 90's, a decade out with your wrestlers :D both good choices though

I'm not very familiar 1980's WWE got a friend who's a big fan and he used to put the PPV events on like the Rumble but never watched Superstars etc. With single superstars my favourites where Kato, Nails/Nailz and the Vampire Doink he had the vampire teeth and his intro had the scratching music. Friend said Kato and Nails where garbage and they lost all the time(Kato did eliminate Hogan in a battle Royal) not saw either of them fight outside of PPV's. I saw evil Doink pin Pinapple head at WrestleMania he also pinned Perfect and Kamala and was challenged to a hair vs wig match by Savage. I was told that never happened and they made him a joke character with a dwarf sidekick as he fell censorship to PG. So I plumped for Masked Kane as that's when I started watching
