A film so bad, it becomes cult viewing - somehow! The whole Turbo-man plot, Arnie punching a reindeer in the face and of course him shouting down the phone the immortal line "PUT THAT COOKIE DOWN...NOW!".

Its amazing how the "Austrian Oak" never got an Oscar for his acting prowess!

Fr Ted Christmas Special - love it! Apparently, it's the largest lingerie department in Ireland.
Ah yes, it's not Xmas unless Dougal's doing a funeral.

Already watched Christmas Vacation....one of my personal favourite films of all time. Home Alone and Wizard of Oz always get a watch too.

My wife and I love doing a Die Hard trilogy night (trilogy only as everything after 1-3 was dire) :)
My daughter as recently discovered The Santa Clause trilogy and we've seen each of them twice already this week so I feel this might be a regular one now
Personally, I always watch Ghostbusters, The Thing and (as of their release) the Lord of the Rings trilogy over Christmas; maybe not all Christmas-y but part of my Chrimbo routine now :)

All the classics are a given, so I won't mention them all again.

Will be watching Christmas with the kranks tomorrow as the wife found the dvd of it. I'm sure we watched it but for the life of me i cannot remember what it was like.

Another no one seems to mention is Surviving Christmas with Ben Affleck and James Gandolfini. That was quite funny. It's story is Affleck pays a family to be his parents as they live in his childhood home but the obvious happens and Gandolfini hates him and wants to get rid of his annoying ass

Bit of an odd one but Galahad of Everest always gets a watch every Christmas. A film about Brian Blessed climbing Everest. Well worth seeking out.

Die Hard
Trading Places
Scrooged
Blackadder's Xmas Carol (not really a film but longer than a TV ep)
Groundhog Day (okay, it's set in February but the vibe is xmassy in my stupid opinion)

Watched Krampus a couple of weeks ago. Decent.

Ahhh, that's what that was. I visited my parents earlier in the day and they were watching it. I said : "What's that ****?" Yeah, it's not going win an Oscars.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, with a bit of luck.

Would also like to watch The Snowman and Father Christmas with the daughter.

Planes , Trains and Automobiles - one of my all time favourites and I save it for around christmas time .

Polar Express - sickly sweet but still a good film.

The Grinch - a sterling Jim carrey performance on par with The Mask.

Nightmare before Christmas - quality stuff.

And yes the usual Home Alones , Die Hard 1/2 , Christmas Vacation.
