I was at that festival and all I remember is rain. The feeling of being wet and cold for 3 days solid will live with me forever. My first, and last 3 day festival. Horrible.

Trying hard to rack this brain of mine for additions to my list and remembered a few more.

Anthrax - Wolves Civic - sometime around 2002/2003ish I think - went with a friend of a friend but ultimately forgettable

The feeling (x2) - Wolves Civic / Coventry Coliseum - dates uncertain - both really good performances covering both of first 2 albums . Bit of a guilty pleasure but always found them entertaining especially in person.

They Might Be Giants (x2) - Rough Trade (2015) / Electric Ballroom (2016) - bit of a double bucket list one - see them perform live and meet them. Rough trade was an intimate signing and mini gig which was a great opportunity to say hi as I had been waiting to see them since I was a kid. Electric Ballroom was a full on show and topped off by getting a signed drumstick.

Manic Street Preachers - 2016 Albert Hall - celebrating the anniversary of Everything must go. Not an avid fan of some of the last 15 years worth of stuff but happy to hear some of their better earlier stuff too. A great show that inspired me to re invest in the manics back catalogue and try harder to enjoy the post 2000 not just the earlier stuff . JDB put on a great show and his vocals were great

Bucket List of want to see - Pearl Jam , Gin Blossoms.

Wish I'd seen - Nirvana (89 era) , Blind Melon.

My very first 'proper' gig appeared on Youtube, almost in full (the beginning is missing) not long ago. The Manic Street Preachers at the Roadmender in Northampton on 23rd Feb 1992.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19BBs4Bp4Mo

I don't count the 'Level 42' and 'Michael Jackson' gigs I went to before this as I just tagged along and wasn't into them. I was well into 'You Love Us' and the first album by the Manics

Fan or not, would love to have been able to see Michael Jackson, particularly in his prime. Same with Freddie Mercury.

Started looking up support bands for the gigs I've been to and christ I had forgotten a load. Didn't have the slightest inkling that I had seen Biffy Clyro as a support band fifteen years ago. Also remembered about bands like Sugarcoma and listened to a Pist.On song that I haven't heard in about 17 years.

Did see Imagine Dragons at Barclaycard Arena and that was a terrific show. Looking forward to seeing Chilli Peppers and Babymetal in December, and just booked tickets for Leann Rimes this morning too.
Just came back from the Chili Peppers with Babymetal supporting, amazing night, fantastic energy from both bands. Would definitely go along to see either again. :D

A special mention for Blancmange who were supporting them. First time i've ever danced to a support act, i reckon. Brilliant! :D

Funnily enough I wasn't. Out of the bands I saw I was only really a fan of LTJ, NOFX, Green Day and The Offspring. My mates were more into it but with tickets being so cheap back in the day I just used to go along.

Remembered that Iron Maiden are playing Newcastle and had a look at tickets.

£53, yeah but no.

I've seen Sabbath twice and despite both gigs being pretty much identical they were fantastic both times.

N-Dubz is the only gig I've been too. Pretty amazing. The drummer they had was totally awesome.
