Pong was played. It's in the first episode that was filmed. That... hasn't been shown yet!

I thought this episode was pretty good. Russell Howard's avatar was great. And the Sensible Soccer match was a close thing. A bit pathetic that they couldn't come up with a couple of Competition Pro sticks for them though.

Again with the misinformation, this time over the 'Turbo' bit of Street Fighter II Turbo, but as a bonus, we did briefly get to see the stage rotate back the other way!

And of course Microprose Soccer came before Sensible Soccer...

I was horrified by his skills (or lack thereof) with SF2!
At EGC last week my 5yo daughter was better than that! He should be ashamed lol
Enjoying the show but still dislike the bloody revolving stage.

It was the first episode filmed. I get the impression, having watched all the episodes so far, that they were told to tone down some elements for the later filmings heh. Certainly there were at least two things beeped out, if not three for starters. And a couple of the comments made no sense in context because they referred to the episode being the first one (such as spending all the budget on the rotating set)!

Yeah, that was my favourite one so far. Though it's really annoying that they were playing retro games without a joystick! No wonder they couldn't control Pac-man at all. Then Frogger.

If you are going to make a retro gaming TV show, at least get some joysticks

Is it a retro gaming show? I thought it was just a gaming show. The systems don't much matter for it anyway, only that they play a half decent version of the games.

Good controls on the other hand are essential. I'm sure they were trying to play something with a touch screen last time I watched. Give them some decent sticks ffs.

They certainly seem to love the original Wii's Virtual Console and Xbox Live. Russell Howard was even complaining about using a control pad than a joystick for Sensi.
