Dara O Brian's Go 8 BIT

Post by TheDude18 » Thu Aug 18, 2016 7:48 pm

The Dave channel - everyone's go to channel when there's bog all else on the box to watch repeats of old shows is launching a gaming related show - Go 8 BIT.

Here's the link - http://dave.uktv.co.uk/shows/dara-o-briains-go-8-bit/

Celebrity gamers challenge one and other on a variety of games and platforms including retro games. Sounds promising also sounds a bit like Gamesmaster but without the reviews and tips. Anyone else interested? Starts on the 5th of September.

I'll give it a watch. Would rather have a full series of Gameswipe, mind you.

That Gina Yashere should be on a game show called "let's throw Gina Yashere down a big f*cking hole"

Unfunniest excuse for a comedian ever

Ha, I can't stand Ed Byrne.

Looking forward to the Rachel riley one though! She's a babe. She's a RoboBabe.

I went to the filming of the very first episode that was done (which isn't the first one being broadcast). It was pretty good, technology glitches aside with the wifi and mobile phone voting, which I'm guessing they'll fudge through in the final edit. Plenty of material that isn't broadcast friendly going on heh... so I'm keen to see what actually makes it into the final edit

Sadly that wasn't the one with Rachel Riley heh.

I think you're missing the fact that Susan Kalman is on the first episode.

any hole for unfunny comedians should be extra deep ready to accomodate miranda hart and michael mcintyre.

in fact, why restrict it to comedians? there should be plenty of room for mary berry (skeletor in a Cheap MDF rubbish), paul hollywood, jamie oliver and kirstie allsop

Can we throw Greg Wallace into this as well? This wide boy potato head seems to appear on everything BBC related.

It's a Gamesmaster update without the annoying kids. Like Gamesmaster, I expect it'll have some good bits but won't be particularly satisfying in the long term.
