I watched batman v superman last weekend, I was dissapointed by it as it's no where near as good as man of steel, it was by no means terrible though, well for me anyway. Suicide Squad is on my to see list.

It has caused Brexit, the mass de-industrialisation of the UK, mass unemployment, plague, famine, disease and a rise in house prices. Nah, I haven't seen it yet - and to be honest it's not something that I will see at the cinema. I do think we sort of at saturation point with a lot of these comic book films - you've got to come up with something different to entice the audience - and the recent batch have been mediocre at best.

I think the stuff Marvel are doing directly have been great. A shared universe all tying in together and linked, building up to a grand Finale.

Sony however have no idea what to do with the spiderman and Xmen stuff anymore ( lets not even mention Fantastic four ) and should hand everything back to marvel. The cameo of Spiderman in the lastest Captain america film was 10 times better than Sony ever did.

And the DC stuff seems to be bordering on various levels of awful.

Fun change of topic.

I think we've definitely reached peak superhero now. Always been a big fan of Batman, but absolutely no interest in seeing these new films.

You have to do something a bit different with superhero films to stand out. Deadpool was fun, I'm still laughing at the "I'm going to do to you what Limp Bizket did to music in the 90s" line. In fact I just laughed at it again as I typed it out.

I recently watched Guardians of the Galaxy and thought it was excellent TBH.

Really excited about the follow up.

I watched Batman vs Superman extended it was boring was falling asleep just all talking and no action.. Good Batman (cool digitised voice) liked him branding criminals who then got murdered by other criminals in jail.. Doomsday didn't even realise it was Doomsday until they said(looked nothing like him) was on there for 10 minutes at the end.. Wonder Woman looked good bought the figure off her.. Luther I always thought him as an older bald man not a skinny ginger kid with Freddy one liners...

Saw Batman vs Superman- lifeless, tedious, humourless, ridiculously overblown... of no value whatsoever. It does make you wonder whether films can get more pretentious than they already are.

All these comic films are getting a bit.............

DC ones = Almost always need more light
Marvel = Have to watch others to know other characters, to much same guys
Misc - do other companies even bother?

This. It's just overlong and very dull, to the point I'm not really sure what it was about. Wonder Woman was good for the 5 minutes she was in costume, but it's not worth sitting through the rest of the drivel for.

I thought Man of Steel was awful but actually liked BvS (although the Batman bits weren't great). Yeah, it was too long but so many films are these days. It wasn't amazing but it was way better than all that Marvel cack.

Not fussed about seeing Suicide Squad.

I would really like to see an R-Rated Witchblade or Darkness movie. The last superhero movie that left me really satisfied was Deadpool.

BvS was OK, not the absolute train wreck some people were saying imo. I'll be seeing SS today, the only characters I know in that are Harley and Killer Croc.

super hero films are generally boring IMO.
