Next England Manager

Post by paranoid marvin » Mon Jun 27, 2016 7:14 pm

Bye bye Roy, hello...who?

Here's hoping it's a completely fresh face, and tbh I want a manager who has played at the highest levels as well as managed. Only someone who has won a World Cup or European Championships can appreciate just what mentality it takes to do so, so my money would be on Klinsmann who has a winning mentality and can command the respect of any English players.

I'll ask the manager at my local Iceland, I think he looks quite smart.

David Cameron, although obviously just for the next World Cup. I don't think I'd trust him with another European campaign.

I don't care as long as you lot keep your hands off Chris Coleman!

Hoddle with Michael Owen as assistant. Just to stop them ruining games with their awful commentating.

Gerry Francis. Failing that, Graham Taylor.

Alan Shearer's just thrown his hat in the ring. Not much managerial experience but he was one hell of a player:

He's got a point in that we've spent a fortune on "experienced" continental managers like Sven and Capello and got absolutely nothing to show for it. We might as well take a chance on a rookie manager who loves the game and gave everything he had as a player.
