Ah another season where I can briefly enjoy the novelty of being able to pick my teams players in my Fantasy League side, then watch us struggle manfully against relegation. Woo!

Well. OK start for Middlesbrough. Might be a tough season but at least we're there!

Just to put that in context, Lincoln Red Imps lost 5-2 to a team from the Faroe Islands a couple of years back.

Apparently they only have 2 full time footballers & one of their players only finished his shift as a taxi driver at 1pm before making his way to the game.

Shocking start for Rodgers.

Have to laugh at Celtic but then they are a poor team.

The Red Imps goal was pretty decent as well.

Celtic scraping a draw this time round.

Moyes now in charge of Sunderland, their seventh manager in five years.

Forest signed three players last week.

Even though I'm a Middlesbrough fan I am really looking forward to seeing Ibrahimovic play.

Even though he is one of the older players he still is fantastic player and I hope it works out for him. Many a time that big name players have failed in the premiership. But I just don't see that happening here.

Well, Leicester lost to PSG and Barcelona, but neither was a disgrace. Very much a learning process, the team has never played opposition at that level before. And new boy Musa scored two excellent goals against Barca, go check them out ;)

Yeah, saw one on tv , great goal.

It will defo help them having played world-class teams, as when they play Hull next week it will seem a lot easier. Really hoping they do well, as with a strong second season (top 8) it will cement their position as one of the 'players' in the league.

In all honesty (as far as their Prem League ambitions are concerned) it would be better for Leicester to play a weakened team in the CL (it's pretty much a given they will do so in the League Cup and probably even the FA Cup), but as it could be a once-in-a-lifetime chance, I can see them fielding their strongest side mid-week in Europe, which could see them struggle in the PL.

The squad buys are for rotation and improving the overall quality. Ranieri will have to "tinker" this season heh... Foxes have bought someone new in each area of the team (keeper, defence, midfield, attack), a couple more by the end of the month should see us well I hope.

And given they are in pot 1 for CL, it means they won't face the likes of Barca, Real or PSG in the group stages at least.
