The very fact that I discovered this 'secret' trail literally 5 minutes from my front door almost makes want to wee with excitement.

Sorry, I live in 'go anywhere you like - there's no trespass laws' Scotland, where we're surrounded by man-made trail centres for mountain-biking. Then I found this secret trail almost literally in front of my house. For some time I wondered about where it went - it leads out of shot, down a steep hill and onto less inspiring double track, but it make for a great 20km loop for when I've got 40 minutes to spare.

Does it have chainsaw wielding hppded maniacs running through it at night? Looks like its creepy after dark.

Nice piece of single track. Similar to some trails near me but mine only go for a mile or so. :( Too many roads and houses in this part of the world. :evil:

I've been put off mountain biking recently....my mate hit a tree at roughly 30mph last month and snapped his patella in half.

He's still bedridden...his missus has to make him a flask of tea every morning!

However, it has meant that his Playstation has been brought down from the loft....
