Custard creams, but only if they're decent ones. Cheap custard creams taste like crap, whereas all bourbons taste the same no matter what make you buy.

Fruit shorties with the sugar crystals on. ALL day.

If pushed between the options...bourbons, usually because the more premium ones have sugar crystals on them.

The answer is clearly Tim Tams as any Australian could tell you. :)

They're basically a chocolate coated Bourbon; a posher version of the Penguin if you will. They occasionally surface in UK supermarkets from time to time.

Uuuuuuh....Penguins. Give each one a different technicolour packet...and let them all taste the same.

Chocolate-covered bourbons. P-p-p-pick up a Penguin. Y'bastards.

Second only to those 'Blue Riband' bars that are basically pap wafers covered in THE thinnest coating of synthetic chocolatoid substance.

God, them pink wafers...aaaaagh.

They're not great but still better than those big ones filled with nougat - vile things, they are.

Yep, funnily enough ALL bourbons were disappearing off the shelves whilst ONE (I believe) factory was flooded earlier this year... regardless of make etc.

I don't think it's a conspiracy, more that they are probably all made by the same people and (possibly) altered slightly. I work in a cash-and-carry and ALL of our own-branded biscuits were unavailable for ages because they are made in the same factory as McVities which had the flood/fire/whatever it was.

As for the ultimate biscuit? Dark choc Hobnobs.

That is the pinnacle of the custard cream. I think too many people have had cheap inferior ones, whereas has been pointed out before, all Bourbons are the same.

Remember as a kid fighting to get the blue and green wrapped Penguins, even though I now know they tasted the same regardless of the colour!

Favourite biscuits - mint Clubs, 'Lincoln' biscuits (those round ones with 'bobbles') and Chocolate Animals.

I'm not sure where this idea that all Bourbons are the same comes from as a quick Google search will show you them in a variety of colours, shapes and sizes. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if most of the no-name ones are from the same manufacturer.

Certainly not bleaurghbons.

Chocolate Digestive ftw. Or chocolate Viennese by Borders.

But CC's win this head-to-head, crumbs down.
