RIP wrestling manager and commentator Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.

I could watch any match he was commentating on, the guy was hilarious and the best at what he did.

With a heavy heart I regret to inform the forum that amazing artist Bob Wakelin has passed away yesterday.

People from all over Facebook have been paying tribute to his and his family. Very sad case of affairs.

R.I.P. Bob..it's been great chatting with you and you now can paint the cosmos and complaint all at the same time. ☺😣

Bob sent me a FB friend request after we somehow met on a random thread and ranted how Husker Du were one of the greatest bands in the world shortly after Grant Hart passed away. That alone was such a thrill having been such a fan of his work for so long. His posts were always funny and self deprecating, even when he was just talking about his illness and frequent hospital visits. An incredible artist and a very funny man. Oh yes, he really, really did hate the Tories.

Mark E.Smith of the Fall passed away on wednesday. Such a massive part of my younger days and Mark left such a huge and fantastic (and messy) back catalogue. At their peak they were simply one of the greatest bands around. Taut, menacing, funny, weird and unlike anyone else. Last time i saw them even though Mark was obviously trying hard to remain upright onstage and spent half the set messing with his bandmate's instruments, they still carried a punch. Always different, always the same. RIP Mark.
