Dunno who he is but was inspiration for Jefferson Airplane & The Grateful Dead.

A pretty decent knock at 98. I remember him very well in the Police Academy films, and I was surprised he has only just died. I suppose he did play a doddery old police chief in the films anyway.

Looks like Paul Daniels is next - has an incurable brain tumour apparently

If the doc managed to tell him without saying 'you'll like this, not a lot', he's a better man than me.

Gutted. He was in so many good films and series.

Also to this day he is in one of the most believeable scenes of someone being knocked out caught on film in John Wayne's "sons of katie elder" see below link.
