Elmer the Patchwork Elephant
Spider in the Bath
Zzap
Huxley Pig
Reboot
Space Precinct
Stuff I watched in the early-mid 90's. I'm guessing people on here will remember these but there's no chance of anybody I know having a clue what I'm going on about.

How about the Poddington Peas? Apparently I watched this when I was only a year or two old but even I can't remember it

I still remember the song
Mainly cause a girl in my school looked like a Poddington pea
Another girl looked like one of the Ratties (there's another obscurity)
Doo Doo dodo RAT RAT RAT RAT! Doo Doo dodo RAT RAT RAT RAT!

What about Puddle Lane, or The Riddlers
Victoria Beckham looks like the girl Riddler. Or the dragon thing from neverending story
Oooh, or Round the Bend!
Or the Australian show Round The Twist
I may actually love this thread

Good old ratties. Certainly would not of been as good without the voice of Spike Milligan.

Great shout for Sledgehammer! Though the reason no-one remembers Wizbit is due to a collective agreement between the whole population that it is NEVER MENTIONED AGAIN.aztecca wrote:Wizbit

Actually there was a girl at our junior school who had something of a muffin top and so she looked a bit triangular. She got called Wizbit for years. Kids are cruel...

I remember watching this on CBBC I think in the 90's. Got the theme song in my head now so cheers for that...David wrote:Or the Australian show Round The Twist

Yeah, I remember Wizbit, and it featured infamous Paul Daniels. Those puzzles and riddles. It was a strange show.

I remember Wizbit, one of those odd shows my sister/nieces used to watch, but couldn't remember his magic word (and I can't help but wonder if Wizbit was in any way named after Sooty's magic incantation of 'Izzy Wizzy let's get busy').
Googling it, turns out Paul Daniels still owns the rights to the characters and designs. Looking at kids' TV now, it would probably still work as a show.

That's the one - and the chicken was the "popcorn cooking queen", think it was made by Jim Henson's company? I remember one episode where all the clocks stopped working, and they sang a freaky song about being "lost in time", scared the crap out of me as a nipper!Liamh1982 wrote:Was that the puppet show with an alligator singing about the bayou? The Hardest of All Freds wrote:Chicken Minute - channel 4 weirdness

That is just the coolest thing I've heard in a long while as nobody I speak to has a clue who Christopher Lillicrap is!djcarlos wrote:I delivered a pizza to Christopher Lillicrap in 1998.goldenone wrote:Here's another for you that's just sprung to mind:
It was a lunchtime show on ITV that I remember being similar to Jackanory called something like We'll tell you a story presented by Christopher Lillicrap.
