I had Doc Croc as my avatar here for a while.
Akinator is generally a good indicator, if it's not in his database it must be REALLY obscure!

Just had a go at that Akinator - took him one wrong answer and 37 questions to get Calamity James

There was a rumour they were going to turn up in Capcom vs Tatsunoko on the Wii alongside the Gatchaman / Battle of the Planets characters, but sadly it didn't happen.Rayne wrote:Samurai Pizza cats.
It was a cartoon about cats that liked pizza...who were also samurai.
Pretty sure this was a thing that existed but no one I mention it to ever seems to remember it
There's also been long-running campaigns to see them on DVD, but to no avail - at least in the EU Region.

Many don't believe me when i tell them that there was a Bill and Ted cartoon series. That and Sam and Max!

A guy at work was talking to me about the Bill and Ted cartoon the other day, I was vaguely aware of it, the Sam and Max one is ace though.Grizzly wrote:Many don't believe me when i tell them that there was a Bill and Ted cartoon series. That and Sam and Max!

I despair at the number of people who do not know what YouTube is...Grizzly wrote:Many don't believe me when i tell them that there was a Bill and Ted cartoon series. That and Sam and Max!

Not sure if I'm imagining things, but didn't the theme song used to contain the lines "we hoped you liked the show it was the best that we could do, if you think you can do better the address is down below"?

Used to love the Bill & Ted cartoon... Channel 4 on Sunday morningsGrizzly wrote:Many don't believe me when i tell them that there was a Bill and Ted cartoon series. That and Sam and Max!

There was also a cartoon series of Neverending Story and Back To The Future... Neverending Story was a bit crap, but Back to the Future was a good one - had live action introductions and conclusions from Christopher Lloyd in his lab.

Here's another for you that's just sprung to mind:
It was a lunchtime show on ITV that I remember being similar to Jackanory called something like We'll tell you a story presented by Christopher Lillicrap.

I remember something like that where a guy was sitting on a tree trunk when reading a story.
Also tickle on the tum, lets pretend.
Also to get a real retro blast i only have to watch the intro to The Sullivans to suddenly knee jerk back to being late for school after dinner.

By far the greatest music channel to exist. Even though it's library wasn't really extensive. Introduced me to Tsunami Bomb at least!!
