I'm not expecting many if any responses to this but one hit rave wonder Guru Josh died today. Not sure what he died of... 1990s time for guru... 1990s time for guru...

It's been a sad day for music indeed.

Oddly enough despite being a metalhead I was quite into dance/rave etc.

Many a night out at the gallery. Was not into drugs much then but the pill heads were all friendly and did not concern! Many bought me a beer! Good times.

EDIT ADDITIONAL:

I think it might have been my amiga upbringing and all the demos.

one of the first dance tracks i really liked, i was into the techno/rave scene in that era, and as an itv chart show obsessive I have an encylopedic knowledge of music of the mid 80s-mid 90s that no-one else remembers

Nope, Gury Larry (I think who you mean), is still alive and well, and has his own youtube channel doing quite a bit of new content. Not sure if he still does anything on the TV though. He's probably on this forum.

Infinity takes me back to my recruit and trade training for the RAF.

Had the album on tape, couldn't afford a cd player!

RIP.
