What are your kids after this Christmas?

Post by sscott » Sat Nov 14, 2015 9:10 am

I have a Grace (10) and Ewan (6) and they will be doing their Christmas lists soon. Grace wants a karaoke thing and my son wants games and Lego. Usually my daughter wants something (like her expensive keyboard last year) and its in the cupboard by January! Do you ever veto or try to steer tour kids away from something? Do you go overboard or are sensible?

My little boy (5) has not asked for much this year. He does not get spoilt as he gets loads off the family.

He loves to dress up and be Mario etc... So all he has asked for so far is a sonic costume bless him. He tends not to ask for games as I have so many for him to play.

Mia(12) is getting an iPhone 5c and money. Apparently her 4s is so old and embarrassing that it is affecting her school life.

Kira(3) is easy to buy for. Toys, games, lego, stickle bricks and all that good stuff. :D

Son (12)

Lego Millenium Falcon - because his room has enough space for more lego models...
Disney Infinity - After 3 years of Skylanders NOW he decides he wants in on this. We made him choose either to ditch all skylanders and have this or keep on with Skylanders. He chose this.
A recumbent bike - (KMX Kompact if im lucky) he has balance issues of the physical kind , Im about to have balance issues of the monetary kind once we have bought this.
More games and Lego.

Maybe im horrible but thats pretty much it from us.

^Gonna say that seems a huge haul for a 12 year old !

My daughter did alright for her birthday but we're not going crazy at Xmas, she'll get decent presents but not going OTT. Depressing when a lot of them are then unplayed with a month later.
