rllmuk has been around for longer than ten years I think. I still remember how exciting it all was when the original Edge forum spat everybody out (because of a bloated Off Topic section basically) and the exodus to the new home began.

It's also had a new lick of paint recently and one of the busiest places I've been for daily gaming chat. Also a fantastic Retro section.

i think they peaked a good while back and as people have said, a smaller but more regular crowd use them. talking to the younger members of my family, I don't think the next generation are that interested in forums - they hang out elsewhere on the net

We'll need a ten year anniversary thread in December looking at the highs and lows I think.

Apart from the odd argument this is a fantastic place, I used to be a lot more argumentative a few years ago and like to think I've grown up a bit! People like flatapex have been welcome new members who have joined our gang seamlessly and would like to see more!

Remember a few years back when we were all upset once the forum changed and avatars moved from the left to the right ! Funny looking back

I think if you have Firefox as a browser you can fix that with a plug in.

My main activity on the net had been forums from 98 till about a year ago. Don't know what happened, guess I just naturally migrated to the social media side of things? Forums still have a place, just perhaps the catch-all nature of facebook or twitter allows for all interests to be grouped together rather than separate sites for each forum. Or something.
