Stop bumping this thread. There's only 12 days of Christmas and they're a long way away :?

Bah, humbug!

Look, if we don't celebrate the birth of this Palestinian baby by gift swapping and spoiling already spoiled children with bits of plastic manufactured in China - we will all end up in hell or struck down by our kind, forgiving god for our insubordination. :)

there would be some uk based ones but prs regulations wouldnt make it worthwhile

That's the 'True Movies 1' channel. It was free on cable and satellite but apparently has just now appeared in some Freeview regions - any of the ones that have the spare capacity to be broadcasting local channels like 'London Live'. They show mostly American made-for-TV movies, with a heavy bias towards domestic dramas - runaway kids, cheating husbands, terminal illness weepies etc. Typical daytime TV censored. They change the name and just show Christmas themed movies from mid-October right through to the end of January.

If you really want to be freaked out, I know a few garden centres that will still have the ludicrously over-priced Christmas decorations up with all the tunnels-of-lights sparkling away right up until they re-stock for Spring planting in March.

Mate, I'm in the same boat but right now I'd welcome that channel with the most open of arms because Mrs Beans has been glued to Sky's Harry Potter movie channel for frickin' days and I can't take much more. :(
If it's slower than me, dumber than me and it tastes good ... tough titty.

Just did a re-tune, and there it is at #82 on Freeview!
Now all I need is a massive redundancy payout and a humungous bag of Twiglets...

David has got the right idea.

Get it out of the way before all the nutjobs hit the high street.

Take out the stress.
