Anyone watching the mugby?

Post by crusto » Sat Sep 26, 2015 3:56 pm

I'm making the effort cos of it being the World Cup and all, so am currently watching England v Wales. Sorry, but I still fail to see any qualities with this "sport". Why is it popular? Where is the skill? From what I have seen its just a load of brutes bashing their heads together. I'd rather watch women's football than this crap.

Womens football World Cup was great.

Rugby league is better being faster paced. Don't mind watching the odd match but i don't get excited over the sport.

Would rather watch rugby than American football that's for sure.

Handegg. You know - I forgot it was on. I have heard people talk about the World Cup. How is England doing? I think with Jonny Wilkinson gone now - it might not be that popular with the public.

Handegg is American football

They call it football and yet most the time the ball is held

Unlike with our Football our Rugby team is capable of winning matches, ok not this one, but thats sport for you

Rugby League is awesome. 8)

Union is OK, but I don't get how anyone can prefer watching it to League.

Just got around to watching Huddersfield vs Leeds, amazing finish. Watch that Crusto, that's good rugby.

I really like American Football but not Rugby. Never been able to get into it. But then I dislike soccer too. With a passion.

Bit annoyed with it really. Instead of it being on a sport channel where it belongs, they messed up normal telly so X Factor wasn't on.

Same with kickball,

Actually, I don't like it being on ITV, it means we have to put up with adverts,

Also
X-factor is crap, most stuff on ITV is crap,

Nothing wrong with than that. I'll probably get more into the Union World Cup once it gets to juicier knockout matches.

I do like a bit of Union 7s actually, will probably watch quite a bit of that during the Olympics next year, but League is where it's at for me.
