Will put up some of more more expensive purchases up tonight.
Loving all the picture disks. Makes me wish I didn't throw out my Belinda Carlisle ones :(

This is my main vinyl shelf....the ones I actually listen to!

Image

I've got a matching one in another room with the ones I don't need instant access to - alternative pressings etc - and a few cases in the attic with the stuff I really never will listen to. Barbara Woodhouse's "Dog Training For Beginners" for example.

And yes, that's sscot's Virtual Boy proudly displayed at the top.

About 5500 in total, plus a 1000 or so 7 inches.....

On the other hand, I've only got about 50 games!

That's amazing mate.
Very, very impressed with that little lot.
I take it you've always collected them?

Yep, since I was 10!

The floodgates really opened when I got into DJing at Uni, and I've picked-up a few free boxes-full here and there over the years. About ten years ago you couldn't give vinyl away, and that's when I pounced

I love collecting vinyl, but I'm 100% not interested in buying new vinyl records. To me it's about the nostalgia.
I have one "new" record in my collection and it cost £15 from HMV. It was nice having a new record to open but I don't
assign any additional value to it. I'd rather buy 7 second hand albums at £2 a go.
I'm fortunate there's a very good second hand record shop near where I work so it's nice browsing in my lunch hour sometimes.
Have about 400 albums now, including some valuable Pink Floyd. It's a fun thing to do. Records are undoubtedly a thing of beauty.

Alan Price - Baby of Mine.
Just stuck this up as it's a bit quirky, don't have many odd shaped discs.

Here's another.
Suede are my favourite band, so this limited edition was a no brainier.

Here's my current Brian Wilson collection of rarities:

Love and Mercy 7", 7" postcard box (still sealed), 12" with poster. I also have a variety of CD releases of varying scarcity.
Image

Good Vibrations 7", What I Really Want For Christmas 7" white vinyl, Wonderful 7" green vinyl, 7" yellow vinyl, 7" blue vinyl, Our Prayer 10" 1-track single-sided clear vinyl, The Right Time 7" (Record Day special), and The Beach Boys special release via MOJO Magazine of Cabinessence 7" yellow vinyl (and I kept the mag, too)

The three Wonderful releases are all firstly housed in mottled white sleeves and then in clear sleeves each stamped with name and title.

Some of you will chortle at the following collection (of which I am only showing some of it!). But...

Tiffany
Hold An Old Friends Hand - Japanese album release with Calendar
Image

The Tiffany Story - USA promo. This is a 3-sided recording of an interview-with-music. It is complete with tracking sheets and letter of instruction. The process for this was the radio station receives the set, airs it once and then either destroys it or returns it to the record label. Only this one made it into the open. :D
Image

Tiffany - UK album release with poster and signed sleeve
Image

A selection of 7" Japanese promos - I Saw Him Standing There, Could've Been, Feelings of Forever, Radio Romance, All This Time, Hold An Old Friend's Hand, Oh Jackie
Image

And finally, mostly UK limiteds - Danny promo (and never released as a single in the UK), I Think We're Alone Now with poster, I Saw Him Standing There with poster, Could've Been picture disc, Feelings of Forever with badge, All This Time box with poster and postcards, Radio Romance with poster, and the Canadian release of I Saw Him Standing There with poster
Image

I have so much more for Tiffany - all-bar-one standard releases for 7" and 12", all CD singles, all vinyl, cassette and CD editions of albums, all subsequent non-UK release albums on CD, a few cassette singles.... Yes, along with Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Tiffany ruled my teenage world! :D

I expect that, other than for the ITWAN release, nothing is of interest to most of you. I can, though, recommend her album The Colour of Silence - it is totally unlike her earlier work, very mature, contemporary and hailed by critics worldwide. It just got stiffed in the promotional machine and went relatively unheard of among the public at large. A real gem of a listen. Check out YouTube.

Rare-ish? Bought before it was recalled and had the Cop Killer track removed and the artwork changed.

Nice picture disc. Quite nice as the b-side was recorded when I went to see them.
