There is a new part-work set of great Jazz albums out now. You can get Miles Davies a Kind of Blue for £4.99 on 180g vinyl. It goes up to 20 quid a throw after.

That's the back of the Lords Of Summer 12", right? I haven't opened mine yet.
It is indeed Side B to Lords of Summer 12", haven't got anything to play my vinyl on yet, but I love opening them up and soaking it all in.

Really cool that you have an original No Life Till Leather, the re-release was the only thing that took my fancy from RSD 2015, luckily Record Collector in Sheffield didn't let me down and still had a few in the afternoon.
Ha ha, glad to hear I'm not the only one buying vinyl without having a setup.
I love that the re-release of No Life Till Leather is the earliest version with just the handwriting.
The one I have is the 2nd (or 3rd?) version that was sold by Jon Zazula at his store.

I don't see the point of my buying CD's now, as I only used to rip them and listen to them that way. May as well buy the vinyl and get the digital copy from Amazon Auto-Rip, then I have a much better physical product that tends to holds it value. Would be great to get a record deck and spin a few vinyls that I have, but I don't think the woman would be happy with that.

Hoping Maiden might do something for RSD as they haven't release anything for it, as far as I now. Maybe a re-release of The Soundhouse Tapes...that would be awesome!

Yeah that series looks really good, if the quality of the pressing on the first release is decent I might subscribe.

I bought it today and the quality is very good indeed. Nice sturdy vinyl and the bass rings through a treat. Highly recommended :)

I mainly collect Metallica, but I'll probably get into collecting a bit of Iron Maiden at some point.
Mostly the picture discs and some vinyl bootlegs, I guess.

Agreed. Looking at the lineup though, I'm only interested in the first two.
The second (John Coltrane) is on Amazon for a tenner so will probably buy it there.

Yeah, I am not a huge jazz fan but I like a few. A brand new quality record on 180g vinyl for a fiver though. I couldn't resist.

A friend of mine works in HMV ansnd they have had people returning the copies they bought for 21.99 in there, and going over to Smiths to buy it for a fiver.

Todays 7" vinyl at 50p each
Prince Buster - Al Capone/One Step Beyond
The Exciters - Keep On Reaching
BBC Snooker Themes
Tommy Sands - The Statue
Pigbag - Papa's Got A Brand New Pigbag
Funkadelic - One Nation Under a Groove
Charlie - Fighting Dirty (picture disc)

Love a bit of soul funk, and the Beeb snooker theme is a classic.
