Fantasy Football 2015-2016 [un-sticky time]

Post by Sputryk » Sat Jul 11, 2015 12:34 am

Yes, folks! It's that time of year again. It's back! Fantasy Premier League Football - http://fantasy.premierleague.com/. And yours truly has already renewed our league, so all last season's managers need to do is sign up. As for you newbies, you will require this code when you go to Join Private League:

111789-31153

<IMPORTANT> Can ALL Managers, new and old, please leave an entry in this thread to announce who they are in the League. (And see below)

As usual the game is FREE to enter and you have £100mill to spend on 15 players. Either choose your own, or let the system randomly select them all for you. Until the start of the first GameWeek any Transfers you make will be free. Effective the start of the Game Week, only 1 (ONE) Transfer each GameWeek will be free, 2 or more Transfers in a single Game Week will cost you 4 points per additional Transfer. There are exceptions:

1) If you do not make a Transfer in any given Game Week, that free Transfer will carry forward to the next Game Week and therefore allow 2 free Transfers during that Game Week. You can only carry forward a single Transfer; it is NOT possible to have 3 or more Transfers in any one GameWeek free of charge. If you carry forward a Transfer so as to have 2 free Transfers in one week you will only be docked points for 3 or more Transfers being made.
2) Use your Wildcard. This permits, in one Transfer process, an unlimited number of Transfers free of charge. This Wildcard is only available TWICE during the entire season - once prior to 28 December, and once after 28 December - so use it wisely!

There are now 3 additional scoring benefits, called Chips - All Out Attack, Bench Boost, Triple Captain. Each is available only ONCE during the entire season - so use them wisely!

There will again be an RGF Cup competition which will run independently of the Fantasy's own Cup.

IMPORTANT

Due to niggles encountered in past seasons, the following will apply:

1) As always only RGForum members are entitled to participate in the RGF league
2) Non-forum members who join will be immediately suspended
3) Any Manager NOT announcing themselves in this thread will be suspended pending clarity (though I, as League Chairman, may relax this ruling for team Managers that I specifically recognise from posts in other topics. I do NOT view this as favouritism [and no discussion on this point will be entered into  ]) Suspensions will be mentioned in this topic
4) Any Manager suspended has the Right to an Appeal. Simply PM me with your real name, Forum name and team name (sufficient info for me to check the Forum for legitimacy)
5) The league will CLOSE on 1 September
6) Any Manager wishing to join AFTER 1 September MUST send me a PM with their real name, Forum name and team name
7) The will be NO admissions permitted AFTER 1 October
8 ) Only Managers that join BEFORE the league's closure on 1 September will be entered into the separate RGF Cup competition

This League Chairman will at all times play fair (as I am sure many of you will attest to from previous seasons). Errors are unavoidable and corrections will be made as swiftly as possible. Reinstatement following suspension will not in any way affect your points tally. Feel free to raise ideas etc - all will be considered. But most of all...

...ENJOY!

Oh, and can a mod sticky this, please? Ta muchly! :D

I'm in, sorry for the late entry Sputryk, just been so busy I haven't had time to look at it properly.

also, im away for a big chunk of august so may get my little nephew to watch it for me while im away, hopefully my team will still be in on piece when I get back!

and what's all this new chips nonsense - all out attack, triple captain.... good grief! FPL is a brilliant game but it already takes a high level of micro management to do well, the way it's going you will need to monitor it 24hrs a day!

anyway, we'll see how it goes and all being well I won't throw it away at the last hurdle like last year, that's if I get to the final hurdle :D

good luck all
