Hopeful that Tony Mowbray can start pulling us in the right direction, as a Coventry fan I have been start of any success in the time I have been supporting them, was a bit too young for the glory days of the 87 FA Cup.

Mad to think that the final of the Champions League was a fortnight ago & this season's tourney has already started.

Our season kicks off tomorrow...

Image

The 4th time in 4 years we've been drawn against a team from the Faroe Islands in Europe, bit gutted that we didn't get a League of Wales team, as that would be a great wee away trip.

Our reward should we beat NSÍ Runavík...

FK Olimpic Sarajevo of Bosnia Herzegovina or FC Spartak Trnava of Slovakia! Couple of "big name" teams there.

Guessing your team in Linfield? Can't see the image but now that I am typing this message, I can see you IMG url and it does say linfieldfc.com :|

Anyway, nice to see somebody support a team that is not of the norm.

Not sure why the pic disappeared, but yeah it's Linfield.

I love the early rounds of Europe, should be an interesting mis-match at West Ham tonight, in the last couple of years the team they are playing lost 5-1 to a team from the Faroe Islands & 8-0 to a team from Malta!

I know it has been reported earlier in the summer but I certainly didn't see this one coming off, will be good to see another "star" player in the premier league.

^^Yeah, should also be interesting to see Man Uniteds team this coming season.

Thank god Sterling has finally gone to warm Man Citys bench, sick to death of hearing about it.

^ Good riddance, we don't need a presence that toxic in the dressing room. Splash out that frankly ridiculous amount of money on a striker and a centre back, job's a good 'un!

Difficult one, he was under contract but obviously wanted to leave. In a way i dont blame Sterling, he needs to move to one of the top clubs to really become a world class player. I do like Liverpool dont get me wrong but he needs champions league football etc. I can see why he wanted to move, of course i'm sure money played a part but he would have got a ton at Liverpool anyway. But i still see Liverpool as a team who finishes 6-10th in the league and with no champions league again.

I'm sure over the years Liverpool have prised many other players away who disappointed their fans by leaving their team and going to Liverpool. Scouse fans dont seem to mind when its the other way round !

Do City really need another attacking midfielder with Toure, Silva and Nasri in midfield already? With Aguero in the team they've not struggled for goals in recent seasons, so I'm not sure they need another attacking player. What they really need is a solid keeper and a couple of decent centre halves. If I had a choice of Milner + £49 million or a sulky Sterling I know which I'd rather have.

Now they just need to learn the lesson of last season by not blowing the cash on several average players, they need to spend the majority of it on a world class striker.

I doubt that they need attacking players but they do need British players to reach the quota, especially after losing Milner.
