Release copied from our web page ...
Manchester’s biggest video gaming show, PLAY Expo, returns for its fourth year!
Tickets for PLAY Expo, the North’s biggest gaming expo are now on sale! The show will now take place at EventCity, Manchester on 10th and 11th October 2015.
Now in its fourth year, PLAY Expo has more than doubled in size over that time. The event encompasses over a thousand screens feauring next-gen, indie and retro games, eSports as well as cosplay and stars of film and TV. The last show pulled 19,000 attendees through the doors of the highly-successful two day event in October 2014.
Show features we introduced last year such as celebrity signings, our careers fair and Youtuber meet and greets will be expanded plus we are adding even more new content for 2015 including an area dedicated to the immensely popular Minecraft, where we will be running Hunger Games tournaments as well as a creative build server. And of course, this won’t be at the expense of any of the other aspects of PLAY Expo!
PLAY Expo 2015 will also feature the UK’s largest arcade and pinball display, industry speakers, movie props and vehicles, card and board games, merchandise plus a host of other features.
Tickets can be purchased from
http://www.playexpo.net and the Replay Events team can be reached via the following email addresses:

Definitely a Judge!
I'm thinking I might go all out with my Lemming costume this year, dyed green hair to boot
I'll definitely be there and will probably book in at the Premier inn West again

At what time does the event shut on the Saturday/Sunday nights?
Will there be as many things to see /play on the Sunday, or will many of the shows/machines be gone?

6pm closing
games/arcade machines/pinballs tend to be the same
talks will be different, guests depends on the individual if one or both days, some sellers may change their stock from one day to another

If there's going to be an indie section, will most of the indie devs be there all the time? I went to Play Blackpool on the Sunday and Monday, and there were a fair few empty indie booths on both days, moreso on the Monday!

There is a slim chance I will be there. Will do everything in my power to make it better than slim but may need a miracle or two!

That reminds me, I really gotta start on my Homebrew adventures. its gonna be on such a hipster device that my sales will probably be in the single digits.

I went to the very first Play event and really didn't rate it but this year's Blackpool event was fantastic. I'll definitely be at the Manchester one.

My flight home from hols is this weekend, so once again I'll miss it. Mrs Ant did suggest I could go straight from the London flight to Manchester, but it doesn't seem right. Anyway, she's suggested she'd like to see Blackpool (I did warn her), so maybe next time we'll both turn up.
I'm doing well with these schedule clashes, I missed the first Aberdeen Comicon while I was away last weekend
