Its alright, the OVAs give you a better feeling of itSel Feena wrote: ↑Fri Aug 18, 2017 6:06 am^ First thing I thought seeing that picture was it looks like Gunsmith Cats.
Late to the party on this one, but thought I'd try Littlewitch Academia. Only seen S1E1 so far, but it looks really charming, I don't know why but I get a feeling this might turn out like that old kid's show The Worst Witch

Hey, great news guys. Studio Ghibli isn't closing just yet. Miyazaki is planning on making another film. See the following :-

Your Name
To my surprise as I was looking through my local listings to finally go see Spiderman, my local cinema was not only showing this movie, this one movie I really wanted to see last year but was unable to and what I thought was an IMAX only 2nd release, but it was also the last showing before it would be gone.
With that I said screw Spidy and booked my ticket immediately.
Just got back, and I'm still a bit teary eyed from the ending and one other scene.
SPOILERS
In a lot of ways, it really connected to a lot of things in my life, including a very recent event that brought back a very powerful feeling from when I first met someone in person after years of online interaction. The leads' first meeting on the mountain was just like that. And the ending yes, I was at that point invested in the two leads to finally meet each, wondering if they could even interact or remember each other, and it was very satisfying especially with the name of the movie. And while the comedy isnt high, the boob gag the final time told just had me laughing so hard, the build up to that final time was great. The animation looks stunning for an anime movie with today's drawing techniques. Everything looks so detailed and colourful in places. And yes, even the body swapping does feel relatable for me in a lot of ways which I won't go into, but it does almost feel like the definitive body swapping movie. I mostly kept the full story a mystery outside of the body swapping and was very satisfied with what I got.
Its definitely worth its hype and can't recommend it enough. It gets a DVD/Blu Ray release in November. On a personal note it might not just be my fav anime film period, it might be my overall fav film period.

Sword Art Online II
Was quite looking forward to this as really enjoyed the first but it didn't really click for some reason. The first story took too long getting going and was a bit dull and then the second story was a vast improvement but was too short.

Blend S, seems enjoyable enough so far, got a few chuckles out of me so far
And also started watching Dragonball Super. First foray into the franchise, and I’m actually enjoying it quite a bit! Beerus is the standout character for me so far, 6 eps in

^Hundred and twenty of left of a mix of bad animation and surprisingly little filler
Just finished it as it just finished
The ending was as predictable as it should of been

Uma Musume, what the hell, mang. Magical horse girls who are also idol singers?

Re: What anime are you watching thread
Tokyo Ghoul √A which I enjoyed, a lot better than the first season which I found to be a bit dull.
Also a couple of one-off episodes Tokyo Ghoul [Jack] and Tokyo Ghoul: PINTO which were quite good.

Aggretsuko - It's cute, it's about 50/50 absurdist comedy cut with biting social satire, and there's death metal karaoke. What more could you possibly want in a show?
