Now 80% the way through Psycho Pass. Average really, has a GotS feel to it but less action-orientated but just a bit lacking in actual subject matter.
Its the trend, we have gone from guys being manliy to whiny kids

For something totally different try Kaiji

I've been watching Berserk on and off again. No whiny kids saving the world there. I still need to see the new movies though, not sure what they're like.

Played catch up and watched some more Parasyte the Maxim. Still enjoying it

Funniest show since Tokyo Pig. Been wanting to see this for years but until Disney stepped up to the plate its not been available in English.

Here's hoping for a DVD release of some sort. Not sure how many eps Disney have committed themselves too as there are over 600 or so in this series.

Halfway through second season of Chaika, and still enjoying it, although not sure where the walking talking Gundo comes into things. Good fun.

Film 4 are showing a load of Studio Ghibli's stuff at the moment. It's filling up my Freeview PVR's hard disk. I think the only one that I have ever seen from them is Spirited Away. I can't remember a lot of it though.

I do have Akira on DVD still - and yes, I saw that many years ago when BBC 2 were showing them in the early 1990s. I'll have to a re-watch soon.

I just finished watching the incredible Deathnote adaption. Anime at it's best.

I'm currently working my way through Ghost In The Shell: SAC 2, which is kick-ass.

I have Steins Gate and Psycho Pass lined up on Netflix but like with everything else in my life, I'm struggling to find the time

Gintama has returned

Image
All because the movie was titled "The Movie: The Final Chapter: Be Forever Yorozuya"

Is also the storyline where Gintoki is told to protcet the clock that controls time while on his way home from drinking a lot, and breaks it, his first response to find this is to go and fondle women's breasts

Also rewatching Space Dandy

Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu
They changed the personality of Yuki to some genaric "Moeblob" also the MC shares the same voice with Gintoki from Gintama it makes it hard to watch as im expecting more humor

1 episode left of Sword Art Online 2 to watch. Have to say the second half of this series is pretty awful.

Also watching Tokyo Ghoul with the missus and really enjoying it. Want a Kaneki Ken mask for myself

Is Studio Ghibli closing down? And - I heard that they weren't reprinting their DVDs/Blu Rays - so they could be rare. Rumours - but can anyone confirm them?

Oh - as a sidenote - has anyone seen the new(and possibly last) film from them - The Tale of Princess Kaguya? I heard that it got good reviews.

Just started watching anime again after a long gap. Don't think i've seen anything other than Pokemon since the mid/late 90's. I think Guyver was the last thing I was a big fan of.

Started watching Attack on Titan, seems pretty good. A few too many long winded internal monologues maybe and as someone said here, the titans seem less powerful as the series go on, I think this takes some of the punch out of it.

Also started watching Death Note and Tokyo Ghoul. Basically trying anything out on Netflix at the moment. Just dipping a toe into it. I'm really quite enjoying Black Butler too.
