Akira is getting its new Blu-ray release this coming Monday. There's three different dubs available(two English and one Japanese with English subtitles).

Anyone looking forward to it?

Yes! I recently saw Akira in the cinema with the Japanese Dub and it strangely made more sense, its just annoying that you have to read the subtitles and miss some of the amazing animation. This will be added to the collection.

Its an old series, but I'm really into Space Adventure Cobra. Since I bought the film cheap a few years back, watching it over and over and learning there are two English dubs of this too, I'm now hooked on the 31 part series. I found a good Anime streaming website (www.9anime.to) with loads of Anime on it so I'm exploring that at the moment.

Castlevania on Netflix.

It was good but at only four episodes it felt more like a mini-series to set up a longer season/story.

^ Thought it was a good teaser for a fully-fleshed season to come. I hope we see more of Drac's missus in flashback.

It was recently announced that season two will sadly only be eight episodes. :x

Double the first season at least.

^ Good news, I'll take it. Hopefully this'll mean zero filler.

Started watching Space Patrol Luluco, looks like it'll be quite fun so far

ATTENTION! Just a heads-up, the last Studio Ghibli film When Marnie Was There is going to be broadcast in the UK, on Film 4 on Wednesday 24th of August at 11:00 AM(BST).

Set your recording devices anime fans.

Gate, about halfway through and I'm not sure how to feel about it. Some really nice action scenes and the premise is great, but there's too much waifu stuff

^ First thing I thought seeing that picture was it looks like Gunsmith Cats.

Late to the party on this one, but thought I'd try Littlewitch Academia. Only seen S1E1 so far, but it looks really charming, I don't know why but I get a feeling this might turn out like that old kid's show The Worst Witch

I was going to start that recently but ended up watching Luke Cage instead. I think season two has now been added to Netflix as well.
