My sister's boyfriend is a manager of a Game store and if he had done this he would have been crucified and quite rightly so.

I would also be very wary of dealing with someone who has zero feedback - who knows if he really is a Manager at a GAME store?

I spoke to someone on Saturday, who was supposed to be getting hold of some 360's today - I gave him my email address and mobile number an he promised to get in touch after midday - Still waiting (he is constantly on voicemail, so I have texted him and asked him to let me know one way or another! :x )

Quite right! My sister's bf had only 58 360's delivered to his store and all of those were on pre-order.

Game's upper management are *VERY* strict on such things - my future brother-in-law constantly has boll**kings about the layout of his store and window displays! So something as serious and underhand as this (making money off Game's resources) would result in instant death...

I'm STILL waiting for the person (see my last post) to contact me - he sent a text at 12.40am (!) saying he would phone me today and that he has some 360's...

I can't find the link, but I saw an aution on eBay on launch day (2nd) that almost killed my faith in humanity.

The title was: XBOX 360 *PHOTOS* IMMEDIATE SALE!

On reading the auction, the seller DID clearly state that the auction was NOT for a 360, but glossy, PR-type photos of the Premium pack. At the end, it had around 30 bids and went for around £450. Clearly they did not bother to read the text.

I would love to see the feedback flame wars when the buyer realises what he has just paid for, and technically can't get his cash back as the auction was not...wholly...misleading.

These are the reasons I hate ebay. People are scum. Stick to free ads I say.

By the way, I don't know what GAME's policy is but if a GameStation manager had sold a load of 360s on ebay then they would have been instantly dismissed. There was a manager who got sacked for sellling promo discs a couple of months ago.

I've noticed some prannet is selling XBox email addresses for £300, though looking at the auction heading it doesn't state that its an email address!

If people are going to be suckered in like that though, they do seserve everything they get, well, in most cases anyways.
It's like an old pair of slippers, isn't it?

Pay someone to phone you, then you can listen to THEM play THEIR X-Box!

Or the one about selling e-mail addresses:

Some people just want shooting.
