Blimey! Thanks SS!!! Got a little note in my box of goodies that says 'What to give the RG forumite who has everything? Probably stuff he's already got.'

Well, amazingly I didn't actually have ANY of that stuff :D It's been on my shopping list for a long while! As for approximate spending - very generous indeed :o

So, thanks for: Psytronic games (Guns n Ghosts and Darkness - both C64 Disk games), Sid Chip Sounds: The music of the Commodore 64 and the book Commodore 64: a visual compendium.

WOW! My SS is an awesome person.

Very much enjoying the randomness.
Pot of bubbles (already used to entertain my niece),
Official ps1 multitap (bomber man anyone)
Guineas world records 2015 gamer edition ,
British car encyclopaedia,
Ps2 to USB adaptor , handy as I hate my PC pad.

Will edit more when I get back from pub, but thank you secret Santa.

Have to say that hints thread was very handy. I remember reading that you knew the area the sender was in quite well - so how emotionally scarred did your experiences of Wrexham leave you?

I mentioned that I was looking at collecting Famiclones and plug-and-plays and lawks a-lordie, that's exactly what I got:

Ultimate TV Game - Famiclone that looks like a PSone (albeit with a crude relief of a skateboarder who looks a bit like Sweetchuck from Police Academy), looks like it plays actual Famicom carts too so there's another thing I'm gonna have to start trawling eBay for!

N-Joypad - already have one of these but the box is less sun-damaged than mine and the controllers aren't completely fooked.

25-in-1 Intellivision - my 10-in-1 doesn't even load half the games on it, I'd actually been looking for one of these.

Mega TV Drive Challenge - I'm certainly intrigued at how easily tennis games and Arkanoid clones play with a steering wheel (actually, the latter might not be too bad).

My SS doesn't actually need to put himself forward, having made the elementary mistake of leaving the myHermes label with the sender's details on it - the last thing I'd have expected from the organiser of the whole thing!

Mind you, I'd have had a very good idea who it was anyway considering I've already seen all of these on his YouTube channel.
Very traumatised lol

We used to go to portmadog on holiday when we were paying for the wedding. I know most of north wales and been lost in most of it too

I got Pitfall - The Mayan Adventure for the SNES.
Thank you and Happy Christmas SS, it's a game I don't have and haven't played either.

Very happy with my Secret Santa: NES controller tin of mints (perfect for doigestion after Christmas dinner!) an ace Chewy talking (well more growling) keyring and a very interesting book 'Diary of an 80s Computer Geek'; that was my era so perfect for me

Thanks again!

Finally got to open mine about 5 mins ago :)
A great little pair of Big Box C64 games, Barbarian and War in Middle Earth, Panzer Dragoon Orta on Xbox (love that game) and some awesome Ninty-subject pendants that I believe are made by their own fair hands and will be shared amongst my family to enjoy :)Image[/URL]

In the card is a website code but sadly it doesn't seem to work anymore which is a shame :(

Thanks very much though SS, well pleased thank you :)

I'm glad that you liked them but I cannot take the credit for the Christmas ornaments... I didn't make them myself! (now I feel guilty  )

Also, check your PMs, the link was not supposed to expire, or at least not so soon
