Got mine today - not had a chance to read it yet but a quick flick through shows lots of screenshots and a decent quality :)

They've just launched the "Commodore Amiga: a visual Commpendium" Kickstarter:

Since I'm enjoying the C64 book a great deal, I've just pledged it :)

Yeah, that one launched yesterday, and by the time I got home it had been funded!

I haven't read the C64 one yet, but I'll probably get the Amiga one, too.

The Amiga book was at 130% funding after a few hours! all the "Martin Edmonson signed Shadow of the Beast t-shirt" were already gone when I pledged

The C64 book is very enjoyable, light, very "visual" indeed, and they managed to get the C64 colours just right on the paper. Great Oly Frey artworks too.

Picked up mine at Expo on Saturday, on the Sunday asked Jeff Minter to sign the Camel on the AMC spread to which he obliged!!

The book is quality though, looking forward to the Amiga one!!

Spoke to the guy behind the book at Play Expo, the book itself looks amazing, shame its just C 64 ;)

Asked him about a Speccy one but he said he didnt want to tread on Chris Wilkins 'toes' so to speak (Hey how about my old books ;)

Said its a different type of book as this one is mostly visual with not so many words. Hope he goes ahead and does one though

I know, seems crazy that most of the better perks have already gone!

I'm wanting to pledge, but just hoping some more perks come along, or else some of the exisiting perks are increased - no reason can't have more t-shirts/posters surely?

Is it possible to get notifications of new perks do you know?

They said in an email yesterday that they plan to make more "special edition" versions available... I don't think there's an automated way to get notifications on this (but then again, I'm not a Kickstarter expert), I guess Bitmap Books will send an email to all their backers when they make new perks available and/or we'll have to keep an eye on the project page.

Cheers. Gone for the Kick Off 2 option, although I do wish there were some more Sensi posters. At least as a backer I should now get emails about other offers. Just a shame that there's no option to combine perks - eg I'd love to get C64 and Amiga books and the Kick Off 2 poster - that seems to be a problem with Kickstarter , which I'm sure would be popular with backers and help better successfully fund projects
