Congrats to Man U

Post by Bub&Bob » Wed Apr 11, 2007 3:18 am

I am an Gooner, always have been, always will be.

But, I want to congratulate Man U on sticking one up (or should that be 7) those Ultra w*nkers last night.

Incidently, a feature on 8 bit footy games would be interesting.

YAY! One goal would have done it, but what a way to get back at the Italians!

Manchester United 7-1 AS Roma
(agg.) 8-3!

I was a bit stunned when I saw the result on BBC. It's pretty weird to see such high scores at this stage of the competition!

I'm a Magpie, but hats off to the Man U lads - love 'em or hate 'em, if you like the game, you have to admire some of the football they play!
WTF!? The 80's are GONE!? And they're never coming BACK!?

Must admit i was torn, cant stand Man Utd (because of the southern fans not the real fans) but was happy for them to win last night.

Just as i'm writing this my missus called to say she walked past Wayne and Colleen in Manchester just a second ago !

See you in the final lads (I'm a rent boy myself, another poor first half from us last night).

It was a bloody good game - I couldn't believe my eyes seeing 7 goals being hammered in the back of the net over the space of a very entertaining 90 minutes! United really did show what they were made of :D

Just thinking about it from a pure football view , wouldn't a Man Utd v Liverpool final be something special , just for the weeks of banter before and after the game , im really not putting chelsea down or anything like that but the rivalry up here between us is fierce to say the least.

Damn!

I have been saying I should put some wagers down on United to have a Big score - 5 Nil onwards, for a few pound the odds should be quite high!

Does anyone know what the actual odds of that score would have been?

It's too early in the morning for me to search and I have just finished "frolicking" with a mystery lady

It was no doubt 50-1 for any score not mentioned on the betting slip and I doubt 7-1 was listed.
