Clearly the two-point gap that separates first and second makes for a very boring end to the season and the battle for a distant third is where it's really at.

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S ! . . . pleccy fc. And commiserations of Winter for having fought all season long, losing out at the death.

My season has been one to forget, losing out on the Top 10 also at the death. Whereas at the bottom, there has been no change for the last few lifetimes, sorry, months. Still, let's see you all - and more! - back next season.

Top man Sputryk, all your work is much appreciated as always, thanks again for sorting it all out :D

only myself to blame, had a good team and a lead for most of the last 6-7 weeks or so, but made some awful transfers:

Olivier Giroud, what a clown he is, Thierry Henry is right, Arsenal will never win the league with him as the main striker, should have known not to bring him in, Lukaku is another buffoon :D and as for the Liverpool players...........

and what did I say to you Sputryk back on the 6th of August on page two of this very thread:
a set in stone law of FPL is that any player you transfer out, will (unless injured) come back to bite you on the ar5e, usually in the very next game week!
I stuck with Kane for weeks and weeks of poor displays, when I finally drop him, he scores! :D :D

You're very welcome, Halcy. :D

Story of my season! Not at all happy. Top 10 was essential for even the merest glimmer of decency, but my team didn't even deserve that. Thought I'd made so many good Transfers when, ultimately.... And I too had Kane for some time! Also brought in decent performing Defenders, only for their real team to then start losing. Aargh!

well I got a solid-ish 13th, not sure if thats good or not? football isnt really my sport, I also joined a league at work and got mid table in that too. It has been a very strange season at times, and definitely a difficult one for us fantasy leaguers. I think I did quite well in the cup, I was knocked out by the eventual winner.
