 dirty old man pics was certainly not what I was expecting to hear  obviously some ones idea if a prank I guess. Regarding receipts I have a habit of leaving them in the box with the game in question. Must admit to some times taking off price stickers to make the box look as mint as possible. Did not realise so many people loved them to be left on till I came to this forum.

On a similar note, I like when the original price sticker is on a game :D
Yes!! I love that sort of thing too, especially when it's from a now defunct shop like Woolies or a local indie that you've fond memories of....or Boots the Chemists!
The box for my Vectrex still has its price sticker on it - £124.95 from Trents! All the games have got Woolies clearance stickers on them as well - £7.99 each :D

 I knew selling my collection there was a bad idea. Hope no one bought my old copy of Cel Damage too.

I jest - but not sure why you would hide it in a game box and more to the point why would you trade em in without checking em.
Or why it was accepted by the shop?!? Not even checked before being put on sale?

Bought Bloody Money on Atari ST a few months ago and there was full copy of Barbarian 2 in there as well, that's about it though.

It was tucked inside the instruction manual.

1) I bought NFL Quarterback Club for the N64, when I got home, I found the wrong cartridge in there. I'm sure, though I may be wrong, I bought NFL QB Club 98, but inside was NFL QB Club 99. It turned out to be one of the best American Football games I've ever played.

2) I used to get PC Magazines regularly, and of course they often came with the "AOL 50 Hours Free" CD. Here's the irony... I never use these CDs, except this time I was going to actually join AOL, so my latest magazine came with the disc, I put it in, and... no AOL software on there.

Instead there was the full commercial PC version of Sensible World of Soccer.

I was very disappointed, because Sensible Soccer is crap. I gave the disc away.

I bought Baldurs gate 2 in a second hand shop, the old big box version. They sellotape them up to stop the stuff falling out and to stop people taking stuff but it felt very heavy. When i got it home i discovered not only BG2 complete with maps etc, but BG1 and all the bumpf, as well as all expansion packs released for them both. Very pleased.

ON a non-gaming note, the missus and I like to buy old books, especially ones with personal dedications etc. ONe time we bought a book and inside was a card where a chap had gifted the book to a lady and had written lovey dovey stuff on this card, clearly asking her out. All very old fashioned and charming. His name was on there so i googled him to try and find out whether he and her got it together but could find nothing. She obviously liked it and kept the card but we will never know what happened. The card was 1912 so they are most definitely dead now but i always wonder..

I had summat like that, got the Myst anthology for peanuts, came with an extra, full retail copy of the Myst 1 SE, which ain't worth much but nice anyway. Best was getting a second hand copy of Sega Rally 2 from a charity shop in Pontefract, not only was it minty, the previous owner'd left a Dynamite Cop disc in the back part of the box - nice!

Worst was a used copy of Gregory Horror Show, 'twas mint but the manual had a big, hardened, greeny-brown ball of phlegm on the front, sickening it was, nay, IS!

Obviously, nobody's gonna top that fat man/nob thang, hehe. ;)

YES!!!!! I used to copy loads of films in the early 90s and would buy batches of used VHS tapes from car boot sales, just stuff that people'd taped off telly, always a 10% chance of finding a quality bluey 'mongst the numerous tapes of Coroz and You've Been Framed, miss all that sh!t, porn used to be sort of innocent, and you could make easy money off it!!!
