Radio apps that dont use internet

Post by DPrinny » Sat Dec 21, 2013 3:47 pm

Wifi at work is patchy (plus battery drain)
As is phone signal
So I could do with one that dont use either of them, Google is just coming up with ones that need Wifi

Only one I can think of that works OK with 3G is the iPlayer Radio app. I've tried to use Tunein around town but it didn't work too well unless I was in a hotspot.

This might be pushing the envelope a little, but can you not just use a radio to listen to the radio?

What other options are left? No internet, no wifi (obviously, since no internet) and no radio. What am I missing? Is there some other method?

i would just use the fm radio on the phone, rock radio is as good as radio is going to ever get on fm and the new guy that is going to be doing the breakfast show is very similar to everyone else they have, which is no bad thing

Or just bung a whole load of MP3s on your phone but I'm guessing you already have.
