This is nothing but a distant memory now, next year it will be 20 years since this picture was taken and I do miss being in that car alot, who knows one day it might look like that again but for now it sits in the same dark old garage it has done for years rarely being touched for lack of funds.

What car do I drive?

Mostly an Audi R8 (well, in Neef For Speed Hot Pursuit anyways)

Reality - company car is an Audi A8 (I turned down a Beemer and Merc) and my own car is a Mazda 6

And I REALLY want to own an R34 Nissan Skyline - just for the looks of it.

Was never a huge fan of the R34. R32 is the sweet spot IMO!

My 'pride and joy' is a Nissan 300ZX that I've owned for just over 10 years now.
My other car is a Honda Civic!

Yeah, I like the R32 - I just don't like the look of the lights on the back. This is also what I don't like of the current GTR - the back end just looks wrong and not pretty. But the front does.

I saw pics in Auto Express yesterday of the new NISMO GTR, and wow that looks stunning - but they didn't change the rear end, which was a missed opportunity if you ask me.

This is my pride and joy, A Z4 20i, its a 2 ltr, 4 cylinder, turbo. Not very fast but fast enough for me to enjoy. Before this I had a Z4 23i, that was a 2.5 ltr straight six, no turbo. The bigger non turbo had more bhp but less torque, my new one 'feels' quicker, and less thirsty.

Not too keen on the estates but I've always liked the look of the saloons. Did they ever do a Type-R version or anything remotely sporty?
There's the Type-S which is basically mine with slightly stiffer suspension. Not really sporty, just a little more composed and fun.

Japan had a Euro-R which runs a 220ishBHP tuned up K20 engine, stiffer suspension, LSD, stiffened chassis etc. It's not quite the animal the 6th gen Type-R was, it is a nice car though. There are a few in the country that have been imported from Japan. Not many though as for the cost of importing one, you could buy something that's actually sold in the UK with higher spec.

Haha, just wait for your mid life crisis and buy a Porsche. I've already started saving!

Do you not ever feel that the A8 is too big? They are like flippin' cruise liners on land and always overhang parking spaces  .

R34 Skyline is a very nice car but cars like that and Impreza's need far more cash to run/insure and a lot more attention to the maintenance to keep them tip-top so I know I'd never have one.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

I've got a brand new VW Polo. It's an upgrade from the previous VW Polo, which was an upgrade on the previous VW Polo, which was an upgrade on the previous VW Polo.

What can I say, I like the VW Polo!! I don't know how to upload pictures, but it looks like this - http://listers.co.uk/Used/Cars/Volkswag ... tch/143575

I love the smell of a new car! And it's pretty much top of my price range as things stand.
