Not sitting in a basement crying about it but haven't bothered watching it either. Just not interested in new Who anymore.
If it's slower than me, dumber than me and it tastes good ... tough titty.

Not bad so far, Bill's looking to shape up as a good companion. Felt that the last episode could have been a two-parter, more room for the ending.

I agree, the first two episodes of this series have been very good.
I was sceptical about watching it, as last series was awful and nearly put me off Dr. Who for life - all those awful Clara centric confused storylines. But she's gone and been forgotten, and the new companion is so far good - she seems more of the old type of companion... those who help the Doctor, but don't appear cleverer than him, or solve all the problems themselves like Clara did.

I think Capaldi seems happier too, and I know its only been two episodes and it could all go wrong, but it feels more fun and more like old Dr. Who.

Loved the episode on Saturday (Knock Knock). Comedy, horror, tragedy, a twist.

Damn good episode in my opinion.

I wonder how long the Doctor will be blind for. The next three episodes are supposed to be one story so will it last that long? Until the end of the season?

This week's story was very boring. Started out well, but became overly derivative. We've seen the 'pursued by a spacesuit' thing before, even in Who, so it failed to hold my attention. Shame after last week being pretty decent. Weakest ep this season imo.

I thought it was ok. Although as you mention the scary spacesuits we've seen before. Was it in the one set in a big library with Matt Smith.

Still really liking this series... so much better than the previous one.

Which was also the two-parter to introduce River Song whose diary looks to be appearing next week...

Yes David Tennant, that's right. How time flies. Not sure why I thought it was Matt Smith, I think I confused it with another River Song episode (possible the one with the Weeping Angels now I think of it).

Age has done awful things to my memory.

I used to love watching this with my kids when it first started up but I'm bored to tears of it now. The sonic screwdriver is such a get out for solving virtually every problem in the episodes that I've seen that I'm amazed it doesn't get its own show.

I've not watched any of this series nor half of the last. New Who - as we classic who fans call it - is not something I have any time for... it's not the show it used to be in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. In my opinion.
