I really enjoyed the last episode, best of the series so far. Yes the arrow bit was stupid, but so was the whole 'the engines need so much gold to work' plot. But the acting was really good and the whole idea of Robin Hood being a real person who ends up as a myth, just like the doctor, was a nice touch.

Interesting episode I thought tonight.

Still processing it as I cannot tell if I really liked it or just liked it.

Yeah, I'm similar. I think I liked it. I definitely didn't dislike it.

I think it was definitely the best of the series by far. Quite spooky, and I think it gave Peter even more chance to show what he's got as the Doctor.
I take it the little boy in the barn at the end was the Doctor (a young Hartnell) - why did they show Hurt? Just a bit of fun or fan service? Obviously we all know that docs regenerate straight into adults so a young doc can only be the first one. Was that barn in the middle of nowhere that Hurt was walking to (that we saw in the 50th anniv) the same barn at the end of this episode? Where he grew up?
I can tell you something, if Scotland do get their independence they're not having Capaldi back!!! :D

I thought it was rather good and, yes, Capaldi continues to shine as the doc.

It was ok, if a little confused. Not sure if that was intentionally vague or just badly written.

But it did give Capaldi more screen time to do his thing compared to previous, and he's turning out well.

Yes, I think that is what they intended it to be. Full circle, in a roundabout manner.

i was mostly concerned about the spangly jumper Capaldi was wearing - my mum has one like that. Think I preferred the white shirt

Bank Heist was entertaining. Best episode so far this season, for me. One question left unanswered - what did the Doctor do about Lady Kabaraxos?

Ive tried but as good an actor as he is , he just isnt keeping my interest. Maybe im seeing hints at old age where they arent being made , but more to the point I just cant seem to shake that meh feeling of indifference. Also feel a bit like they are shoving Clara to the forefront a fair bit - almost like a safety net.

Im sure he will be a popular doctor but for now im going to take it and leave it. Maybe watch em once theyve been around for a while.

I've been absolutely loving this series so far. I've found every episode enjoyable. Easily the best of the new Whos.

Also, it was nice to see Burp from the Oink comics make an appearance.

Enjoyable episode though I thought that it suffered from rushed-ending syndrome.

The Teller was really good I thought.

The teller was good, but just about every other aspect was terrible. Badly written, badly acted in some cases, bad sets, bad effects. It was as if we'd jumped back to a previous regeneration where there was no budget and the tea boy wrote a filler episode.

Really annoyed that the early evening trailer and the continuity announcer revealed the "monsters" on the Moon before the episode started.
