I don't care what anyone says.
It is still funny to yell "Come on, Tim!"

Re: Wombledon: A thread

Re: Wombledon: A thread
Hurray for Andy. He nearly forgot his Mum in the celebrations. This means that the UK has actually won something for once! I wonder what "The Sun" will say now? Whether he is British, Scottish or even Spanish?

Re: Wombledon: A thread
Maria Sharapova is American because she went to the US to be coached as a young girl! Lionel Messi is Spanish because he left Argentina while young!
What a victory, what a moment for Scotland and Britain in sport. I wonder who'll win the BBC Sports Personality Of The Year award?

He was awesome today, but again, not English. We have a great tradition of adopting anyone who's at the pinnacle of their sport.Liamh1982 wrote:^ Hold on, there's Chris Froome yet (probably)...

Re: Wombledon: A thread
Actually Justin Rose is a very good nomination too, I forgot about him. He should come second. Team of the year will be the Lions, unless England smash Australia in the Ashes.Liamh1982 wrote:^ Hold on, there's Chris Froome yet (probably)...
