I love their A New Morning album but its the only one I have ever loved.

That's interesting as it's generally considered to be their worst album.
I have all their albums as they are my favourite group, but I have to admit it's very "suede-by-numbers". Their two new albums are excellent.
Anyway, I'm listening to Different Class by Pulp at the moment. It's so much better proofing now we have access to Spotify at work.

Back onto the gathering of gaming OSTs for event background music
Shadow of the colossus is up

Its great, but it might be a tad to dramatic or downbeat for events
If anything else some of it is going on my cycling playlist, just no leaping off the bike and trying to take down a bus by poking at its glowing bits
*The Nights of gaming * My inane prattle * Youtube page* new reviews Wednesday and Saturday

Haven't listened to this for a canny while now, cannot believe it's fifteen years old already.

head automatica- decadence.

everyone calls them 'that band that did beating heart baby' which wasn't even one of their better songs ( dance party plus, nowhere fast, solid gold telephone are all much better)

if i mention on facebook that I like them, I get grief because my music taste hasnt changed in the past decade. actually dont care

spotify is either wonderful or awful, depending on the device you use it on.

I used to have it from about a year after the uk launch up until about a year ago, and amassed a main playlist of roughly 2000 songs, perfect for 4 hours a day commuting right?
wrong.
Every day i would select random, and of those 2000 songs the same mainstream songs would come up, every morning and every evening I would get 'stop' by sam brown, that donna lewis song that I can't remember the name of and one of about 4 80s power ballads that I could have sworn I removed because it kept coming up.

also, used to love pulp but cant help think different class has aged terribly as an album

Irresponsible Hate Anthem is worth the money alone. Though, must admit, I do prefer the Grotesque album.

Currently got In Paradisum by Symfonia playing. Superb, from the meister of Symphonic Rock, Timo Tolkki.

The remastered vinyl release of 'Angel Dust' by Faith No More. What an album.

Hammer Goes 90s which is the free CD that came with the latest issue of Metal Hammer.

It's a 90's special issue and has current bands covering songs from the 90's. It's an interesting concept but in my opinion is not one that is very successful.

Track list is:

Stone Sour – Bombtrack (Rage Against The Machine)
Halestorm – Fell On Black Days (Soundgarden)
Prophets Of Rage – Shut Em Down (live) (Public Enemy)
Epica – Replica (Fear Factory)
Hatebreed – Refuses/Resist (Sepultura)
Powerwolf Night Crawler (Judas Priest)
Enslaved – Jizzlobber (Faith No More)
Cult Of Luna – Bodies (Smashing Pumpkins)
36 Crazyfists – We Die Young (Alice In Chains)
Fleshgod Apocalypse – Heartwork (Carcass)
Whitechapel – Strength Beyond Strength (Pantera)
Palm Reader – Bachelorette (Bjork)
The One Hundred – New Skin (Incubus)
Eighteen Visions – March Of The Pigs (Nine Inch Nails)
Were I Blind – Enjoy The Silence (Depehce Mode)

The One Hundred track is a killer cover.

Epica's Fear Factory cover is pretty good too.

Currently listening to: Motionless in White - Graveyard Shift (album)

I honestly had no intention of listening too it fully however, I had my player on shuffle and got caught in to the trap by the track 'Soft' and its pretty good.

I really wanted to like that but it's just lacking for me. It's like they couldn't decide on whether to go for Demanufacture or Remanufacture and ended up merging the two but not successfully in my opinion.
